Anne Stirba Cancer Foundation
The Anne Stirba Cancer Foundation is a charitable, 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to raising and contributing funds to breast cancer research at the Huntsman Cancer Institute in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Foundation organizes various events annually to achieve this aim. Among the events of 2012 are the Fifteenth Annual Judgesrun 5K Fun Run/Walk on June 9, 2012, the Third Annual Concert of Hope to Cure on October 13, 2012 and the Survivors’ Celebration and Dance following the annual Huntsman Cancer Foundation Gala.
Peter Stirba began the Foundation in memory of his wife, Utah Third District Court Judge Anne M. Stirba, who lost her 10-year battle with breast cancer in 2001.
