Darin Goff

Darin Goff's practice of law emphasizes white-collar criminal defense in state and federal courts. Darin has been handling criminal defense matters for over nearly ten years, and has personally represented hundreds of criminal defendants in court on both misdemeanors and serious felonies. Darin has also materially assisted in the defense of serious felonies in federal court, including defense of charges of wiretapping, conspiracy and fraud. In addition to his criminal defense experience Darin is also experienced in the fields of commercial litigation, health care litigation, licensing matters before the Utah Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing, family law, and child protection. Darin takes a personal approach to each and every matter he handles and endeavors to assist his clients with identifying the clients' interests and then focuses on protecting or vindicated those interests through the course of the litigation.

Darin was raised in Kaysville, Utah. He pursued undergraduate studies at Utah State and then at the University of Utah, graduating cum laude (Bachelor of Arts, English). After graduating from the University of Utah College of Law in 1993 Darin traveled to Alaska to begin his legal career. His practice in Alaska spanned 13 years and included private legal practice and positions at the Alaska Public Defender Agency and the Alaska Attorney General's Office. In 2006 Darin returned to Utah to be closer to family. He is married to Lani Kai Eggertsen-Goff. They have one son, Rowan. Darin divides his free time between fly fishing, cooking, cycling, running, and playing acoustic blues guitar.
